On the Night You Were Born

Posted by Maria Faulkner on May 19 2011 @ 14:50

A poem to let our children know how special they are read at Diana Cooper's Grandchild's Christening recently.

On the night you were born

by Nancy Tillman

On the night you were born,
The moon smiled with such wonder
That the stars peeked in to see you
And the night wind whispered,
“Life will never be the same.”
Because there had never been anyone like you…ever in the world.
So enchanted with you were the wind and the rain
That they whispered the sound of your wonderful name.
It sailed through the farmland
High on the breeze…
Over the ocean…
And through the trees…
Until everyone heard it
And everyone knew
Of the one and only ever you.
Not once had there been such eyes,
Such a nose,
Such silly, wiggly, wonderful toes.
When the polar bears heard,
They danced until dawn.
From faraway places,
The geese flew home.
The moon stayed up until
Morning next day.
And none of the ladybugs flew away.
So whenever you doubt just how special you are
And you wonder who loves you, how much and how far,
Listen for geese honking high in the sky.
(They’re singing a song to remember you by.)
Or notice the bears asleep at the zoo.
(It’s because they’ve been dancing all night for you!)
Or drift off to sleep to the sound of the wind.
(Listen closely…it’s whispering your name again!)
If the moon stays up until morning one day,
Or a ladybug lands and decides to stay,
Or a little bird sits at your window awhile,
It’s because they’re all hoping to see you smile…
For never before in story or rhyme
(not even once upon a time)
Has the world ever known a you, my friend,
And it never will, not ever again…
Heaven blew every trumpet
And played every horn
On the wonderful, marvellous
Night you were born.

Meditation with Archangel Raphael

Posted by Maria Faulkner on January 27 2011 @ 08:15

This is a beautiful Meditation:

Archangel Raphael's Garden - Healing Meditation

As you breathe deeply and gently, releasing the cleansing breath slowly, your awareness focusing only on the breath.  Your physical body becomes more relaxed with every cleansing breath that you take.  Any outside distractions that you may hear will only deepen your meditation.

As you continue to breathe, becoming lighter and lighter, through time and space.  There is only the now.  In your mind's eye you see yourself in a beautiful garden.  You are surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers.  You may hear the sound of the trickling brook within this garden of serenity.  The flowers that adorn this angelic garden are vibrant and beautiful.  You can smell the gentle sweet fragrance of the flowers and the scent of the cool green grass which you stand upon.  As you look around the garden, you can see all the angelic beings surrounding this beautiful space.  This is a garden of peace and serenity.  This is Archangel Raphael's Garden, a place of love and healing.  You see Archangel Raphael as he comes to welcome you, carrying his emerald scepter.  He invites you to lie down on the cool green grass.  As you lie down upon the grass you see the emerald scepter that Raphael carries at his side, it begins to radiate and illuminate the powers of the healing energy.  You rest and close your eyes, knowing that Raphael is guided, by your needs of healing.  You allow the healing energies of the illuminated emerald, to be absorbed by your every need.  Take this time, to be with the healing angel and the healing energy.

As your session comes to an end with Archangel Raphael, give thanks for what you have received, knowing that you will carry this gift of healing with you.

As you bring your awareness back into your physical being.  You become more aware of your physical surroundings and self.  As you become grounded, feeling the presence of your physical body, your awareness comes back to this time and place, opening your eyes as you become accustomed to your physical self once more.  Take your time, opening your eyes when you've returned.

Example of Energy Field Imprinting from a traumatic event

Posted by Maria Faulkner on November 19 2010 @ 13:59

Example of Energy Field Imprinting from a traumatic event.

Integrated Energy Therapy accomodates the clearing of the nine cellular memory areas of the body by firstly energizing the area by gentle healing touch, followed by integration which releases negativity in that area.  As an example, by working on the heart area (just above the chest), heartache and betrayal are released and love is imprinted.  The nine cellular memory areas are:-  Top of the head, Third eye, Throat and lungs, back of the neck, shoulders, spleen, liver and gall bladder, stomach and adrenals, kidneys.

To illustrate how cellular memory imprints can be stored in the various layers of the human energy field, I will use a hypothetical example of a person, who I will call Carol being held-up at gunpoint.  The scenario involves Carol working in a store that is about to close.  The other employees have just left and Carol has locked the main door and is finishing up final paperwork before she leaves.  There is knock on the door, Carol assumes that one of her co-workers has forgotten something and has returned to get it.  Without thinking, Carol goes to the main door and unlocks it only to find that it is not a co-worker, but a man with a gun.  The gunman holds the gun to her head and threatens to kill her if she does not open the safe.  This situation is more than Carol's emotional system can safely experience, so she disassociates from the feelings and stuffs them into her cellular memory.  The following are examples of the imprints that these suppressed feelings can make in each layer of the human energy field.

  • Physical Layer - the feeling of the cold metal of the gun pressing into the back of the neck; muscular tension in the entire back of the body and in the area of the stomach; adrenaline rushing through the body; cold, sweaty sensation of the skin.

  • Emotional Layer - feelings of fear, threat, stress, distrust, with anger.

  • Mental Layer - thoughts such as: "I am so stupid," "I can never do anything right," "I am going to die," "I can't be trusted," "men are dangerous," and "men can easily overpower me."

  • Spiritual Layer - if Carol were killed in the robbery, the spiritual layer would preserve all the above information for each of the other layers and possibly re-create it in a future-life experience.  If a similar event had occurred in a past-life experience, this new repetition of the experience would trigger the past experience, adding to the intensity of the other layers.
